Agency liability insurance
For 2026 the agency holds Yunnan travel-agency liability insurance with China Pacific Property Insurance Company Limited, Kunming Central Branch. This is the agency’s own liability policy. It is not a travel insurance policy in your name.

The policy pays the agency’s legal liability for a traveler’s injury during a journey the agency operates, within those limits. It also lists smaller limits for property, delay where the agency is responsible, and some rescue costs.
Two limits matter before you rely on it:
- You are covered only after you are registered. For each guest, the agency must enter the real name and passport number on the Yunnan tourism safety platform and pay that guest’s premium into the designated account. A guest who is not registered is not covered. Registration is done before the journey, and Joy can confirm it in writing.
- Illness is outside this policy unless the agency failed a safety duty the policy still covers. A pre-existing condition, a sudden illness, or altitude sickness is not a hospital bill this policy pays. It also does not fly you home.

What you still buy yourself
Buy your own international travel insurance before you fly, including medical treatment and evacuation. The price of a Hidden China journey does not include it. Bring the policy number with you.
If something happens on the journey, tell Joy. The agency reports a liability claim. Your own insurer is the one you call for your medical costs.
